ADRIATIC SLOVENICA ONLINE TRAVEL INSURANCE

We developed online travel insurance quotes for Multirisk tourist insurance and ZZTA - Assistance CORIS, which enables users to get personalized quotes before leaving abroad. 


Client

Adriatic Slovenica is the only insurance company that offers its policyholders a full range of insurance solutions. Their portfolio also covers Tourist health insurances, which enable financial security and assistance in case of an accident or illness abroad. Most distinguished products in this category are Multirisk tourist insurance and ZZTA - Assistance CORIS.

Challange

When planning a trip for many people managing their health insurance abroad is the least of their concern and often it is overlooked or thought of when it is already too late. The main idea was to increase awareness about the extensive costs, which can occur in case of needed medical assistance abroad and emphasize the importance of getting an insurance quote before leaving your country, ultimately enabling users to easily do this online in the very last minute. The Client needed a solution, which enables getting an online quote at any time and on any device, even on the way to the airport. Another important aspect of entering the e-insurance market was also being able to track e-commerce transactions and identifying the best user experience that leads to the end of the funnel.

Solution

For both products Multirisk tourist insurance and ZZTA - Assistance CORIS we designed the same interface, with some slight variations emphasizing the differences in coverage and insurance types. When designing the information structure and the optimal user flow leading to getting an online quote, we kept in mind the need to make all application elements and functionalities scalable, enabling users to easily complete the process regardless of the device in use.

To monitor the success of the interface in terms of business goals, we implemented Universal Analytics tracking, to monitor the value of e-commerce transactions and conversions throughout the entire funnel. Tracking will provide valuable insight into user experience of the interface and enable proactive optimization on the web as well as in terms of product marketing. As an accompanying activity to promote the benefits of online quotes for ZZTA - Assistance CORIS, we also developed a responsive scroll page, carefully designed to follow the marketing objectives of generating awareness and interest through emphasizing main benefits and real-life cases and ultimately motivating users to get a quote. For the purpose of A/B testing we developed two variations of the website in terms of visuals and main claims: Version A and Version B.
