Network Engineer (Ljubljana)
We are seeking motivated Network Engineers at various seniority levels to join our dynamic international team. If you thrive on challenges and enjoy diverse work with ample opportunities for learning and growth, this role is for you!
The job: As a Network Engineer, your responsibilities will include maintaining network equipment (firewalls, switches, and routers) and providing ongoing support for our customers. Each day will bring new experiences as you engage with various environments. In addition to partnering with Cisco and Palo Alto, you may also have the chance to collaborate with other vendors. We are looking for candidates at various seniority levels, including Mid, and Senior levels.
The team: Join the customer team at Open Line, the leading managed services provider in the Netherlands. Each customer team is dedicated to supporting a group of customers within specific industries such as logistics, healthcare, or government. Our multidisciplinary team consists of approximately 15 specialized IT specialists (Network, Linux, and Microsoft). In addition to your immediate colleagues, you will work alongside other network engineers at Open Line.
As a member of our team, you will:
- Take over networking tasks within the team
- Collaborate on incident resolution and problem analysis
- Contribute to the maintenance, expansion, and innovation of client network systems
- Participate in project teams for onboarding new customers and implementing networking infrastructures
You are a perfect fit if you:
- Have experience in routing and switching
- Have knowledge of network infrastructure, switching, routing, wireless and security (Cisco is an advantage)
- CCNA certificate is an advantage (or if you are willing to obtain it)
- Have high proficiency in written and spoken English
- Are a team player
