We are happy to announce Maastro has passed the VIPP A2 audit within the MijnMaastro portal powered by Vitaly Patient by Parsek!
VIPP is the Dutch Acceleration Program for patient and professional information exchange for specialist medical care institutions. The program is intended to provide patients with digital and standardised access to their own medical data. VIPP was developed by the Dutch Hospitals Association (NVZ), in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport (VWS).
This achievement clearly demonstrates the value of Vitaly solutions that fully comply with the necessary standards set by the Dutch governmental VIPP Program, allowing our customer to retain their subsidy.
The subsidy program contains a number of conditions that the portal must meet. The conditions vary from making specific data available to the patient, security of the portal, necessary procedures and the number of unique patients logged-in in a period of thirty days (must be at least 10% of the total number of patients in this period). All conditions have been met so the subsidy can be fully retained.
The portal met the 10% requirement within twenty days, with first 133 unique patients logged-in, showing great interest and engagement from the patients.
Supported by Hyland (VNA) and ChipSoft (HIX) integrations and complying with the national authentication system (DigiD), the user-friendly solution enables Maastro patients to greater satisfaction and independence through easy access to their health information anywhere, anytime.
During COVID-19 lockdown, Maastro patients are more frequently accessing their online portal by looking for health information and managing upcoming appointments remotely while staying safe at home as much as possible.
