Privacy and security

At Parsek, we are fully committed to safeguarding end user privacy and have embedded Privacy By Design Framework principles into all of our software development lifecycle and supporting activities. All our solutions maximize user privacy without impacting any functionality and have done so even prior the GDPR initiative.

Privacy as first class Citizen

Years ago, on the mission to protect privacy we embraced a new culture where privacy was a highly prioritized factor when designing our solutions. Privacy risk assessment became and still is an integral part of the design stage of any initiative. On that account, our development team engineered a platform with firm foundations in the Laws of Identity.

We invest a lot in being IHE compliant. This set of standard enriched with advanced security approaches can safeguard privacy even if the data is stolen.

Secure data by all means

Data is the new oil and sensitive data is even more valuable which actors of malicious intent know better than users. In healthcare almost all data is at least personal if not sensitive therefore we have to protect it through a systematic approach and by all means.

Proving a solution is not secure is easier than proving it is is protected by strong security mechanisms. Years of working in highly demanding fields of information technology equipped us with priceless experience on how to build the end-to-end security shield. We employ a variety of automated checks, recommended manual hands-on procedures, and independent external white hacking firms to prove a very high level of breach protection.

Trust, but verify

All our solutions are build with visibility and transparency in mind. Our goal is a user completely in control of its information and its processing. We are able to prove accountability, openness and compliance with all promises regarding their data at any time requested. Users can easily gather and understand all privacy related information by reading our clear Privacy Policy. They are empowered to verify how, why, who and when their data is used in any processing activity. Our users are thus always informed and aware if an explicit consent is needed for data collecting and processing.
