How can an integrated approach between primary and secondary care help in minimising unnecessary outpatient appointments and support more sustainable systems?
Dr Colin Brown, CCIO at University Hospitals of Morecabe Bay NHS Foundation Trust, presents an example of how several NHS Trusts in the Lancashire and South Cumbria (NW England) tackle these challenges to achieve safer and more accessible services for breast, bowel and prostate cancer survivors.
